NATURAL FIRE STARTER

Natural fire starters are a fun, inexpensive, and aromatic project that will have a big impact on your guests. I recently used these as a place setting for winter dinner party. I foraged various materials from my home and the forest, added slices of dried oranges and baby pinecones.

Arrange the greens in a nice cluster with a strong base. Get a small piece of twine and secure the base. Wrap the pinecone with the twine and tie in a knot. Find a hole in the orange slice and thread the twine through. Build a fire and add this little starter to the top. Sit back and enjoy!
